Abstract
Opening the website of The Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland (RAI), you quickly find out what this institution boasts about: its antiquity. In other words, it is we who have been treading the paths to the “natives” and contributing to the knowledge of cultural diversity since 1870.
Although Brexit may herald a new phase in the disintegration of the empire, the cultural importance of RAI members is not diminishing. How did the 15th edition of the RAI Film Festival fit into this story?
